This is what I came up with and hopefully it shall win. I enjoyed drawing it and especially the coloring portion of the illustration. I drew it in Pencil, and then straight into Photoshop for coloring. You can find this picture and the contest at
here and my my Deviant-art page is here

This is a model I found on Deviantart.com her name is Susan Coffey, she is a brilliant model. To see her DA account go to http://susancoffey.deviantart.com/
also the Original Shot by Neil Lynch
Overall this took about three solid hours, slow I know.

Hey everybody its DC comics hottest magician Zatanna! She has been a favorite of mine for a few years I’d actually like to see Superman and Zatanna as a permanent couple that would be fantastic. I prefer this costume over her original. This costume actually has more personality to it instead of being some cheesy cliché comic hero. Obviously the hat is missing in this picture, so I’ll go ahead and ask please forgive me. Let me know what you think by leaving a comment below. I love reading what you Barbarian think.
Hello just want to give you all an update, I entered a contest a little while ago to Game Informer; I did not win, however my art was put in the magazine. If you don’t believe me you can check out the May Issue of Game Informer and see my art on page ten, issue 193, The Winner was Brian Bridgeforth with a God of War illustration, it was very well done. So check it out and let me know what you think. (more…)

If you grew up in the 80’s like I did, you could not get away from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Leonardo was my favorite: I learned how to draw by watching the Ninja Turtles when I was younger and from that point on I never stopped. I didn’t start out that great so I would trace the characters or copy a scene. Through doing so I learned why artist drew certain shapes and why one line was thicker than the other. If you haven’t seen the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie going under the title of “TMNT” then I suggest that you buy it right now, stop reading this message go to your local Wal-Mart and request a copy. The 3d animation is spot on and the fight scenes are well choreographed. If your a 3d hater, then I suggest you can go choke on some junk movie that is void of all special affects, and don’t bother calling for help stupid; your choking you can’t even breathe let alone call for help. You need to throw your arms up in the air and wave them like you just don’t care. That should get some attention; They’ll say “Hey look at that guy waving his arms up in the air; apparently he just don’t care.” And then you die.
All right to this character are held by Mirage Studio’s and there perspective copyright holders, this is only a fan illustration with no intent on any financial gain.

AH this Samus looks lie the poop. Apparently there is a huge difference between Flat screen and the ol’ Fish bowl monitors. Hello to all my fellow Barbarians, I just finished this illustration of Metroid (Samus) I decided to post it early; do to the fact that I was just recently blessed by God with a full legal copy of Photoshop CS3 Extend edition, and I wanted to show the first colored illustration that was done in the program.
To my Friends Nick, Jp, and Jason.

Generally as a rule I do not draw fan art short of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles because they are just awesome. I wanted to draw something a little different and Metroid popped into my head. Starting with a pencil and paper and a 30 minutes later this drawing was born.
When I draw pictures I intend to ink, I always use my light table and a piece Bristol board and trace the original with a micron pin. That way if I mess up I can always start over.
[SUGGESTION TIME]
If you mess up half way into the inking do not throw them away, use them and try out new inking techniques, you never know what you can learn by your mistakes.
