This is a drawing I did for work to help boost sails; However this picture is the biggest I’ve ever done. This is a small adaptation of the original work. 48″ X 60″. When I get a complete picture of it with a better camera I’ll post it. Let me know what you think. The Original was done with acid free foam core board Sharpies and tones of Alcohol markers, and some spray paint. Took a little bit to do.

This is what I came up with and hopefully it shall win. I enjoyed drawing it and especially the coloring portion of the illustration. I drew it in Pencil, and then straight into Photoshop for coloring. You can find this picture and the contest at
here and my my Deviant-art page is here

arcimedia-02-small

Hello again my fellow Barbarians, It has been awhile since the last far to long in my opinion. I just finished the second picture out of five super heroes for a client at http://www.arcimedia.com/ and his blog at http://www.superheromarketing.net/ I used the pen tool in Adobe Photoshop CS3 for the nice crisp lines. You got to be careful not to depend on a computer generated effect because you could forget some hard earned techniques. I really like this illustration and I was aloud to share it with all of you. Thanks a bunch and make sure to follow me on Twitter or be my friend on Facebook. You can find me by my name Basil Barrett.

This is a Christian superhero that I was commissioned to draw as a Christmas present for one of my sisters coworkers son. It turns out that his son like the drawing and with his permission he aloud me to post his character on my site; thank you Colby. I look forward to working with you in the future. I had a lot of fun drawing this picture because I was given good solid guidelines and with an edge of freedom to play around with the design.
